SABINA SARIN
Sex Therapist (Ph.D., C.Psych)
Dr. Sabina Sarin is a licensed clinical psychologist, educator, sex and trauma therapist, and yoga and mindfulness teacher with over 15 years of experience in treating individuals and couples with a wide range of sexual and relational difficulties. She completed her Masters degrees at Yale University, and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from McGill University. She has worked in several private clinics and hospitals in Ontario and Quebec, and was Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at McGill University, where she trained interns in the principles and practices of sex therapy and somatic therapies. She has worked with people struggling with depression/ grief, anxiety, body image/ eating disorders, and traumatic stress,
in addition to sexual dysfunctions (low desire, erectile difficulties, premature ejaculation, anorgasmia, sexual pain). Dr. Sarin has published book chapters and articles primarily on the mind-body connection in
sexual desire and arousal, as well as body image and sexual functioning. She has also studied the sexual health of women in the sex industry and has run yoga groups with survivors of sexual trafficking.
She applies an empowering, dynamic and humanistic approach to therapy, incorporating practices from multiple somatic and talk therapies. She particularly specializes in mind-body practices to help people “get out of their minds” and into their embodied experiences. In addition to the tools she offers, she puts the relationship between the client and therapist at the heart of the therapeutic process, and provides a warm, authentic, and safe space for her clients to voice to what has been silenced, and to work through
barriers to change.

Outside of her work, Dr. Sarin loves hiking/ rock climbing, creating music (and other forms of art), playing with her furry friends, learning new things, and exploring the unexplored.
